HOW TO ORDER A TRADITIONAL OR DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
Cost Estimate. Rates charged are normally based per hour or fixed price based on their understanding of your project requirements. A fixed-price project will specify the number of iterations (i.e. rounds of revisions) included in the price. Quotes for your project will reflect the scope of work, or how much you actually need a designer to do. The artist will only start working after the contract has been approved and signed by the client.
Color Preferences. Do you prefer the artwork in full color or monotone? If monotone, which color would you prefer? The artist can use traditional drawing method using lead pencil, charcoal, colored pencils watercolor, ink or acrylic or digital method.
Choose a Medium. The requested artwork can be illustrated on paper or hand-drawn on a digital format. Do you want 30-second time lapse video? The artist can prepare and create this for you!
Knowing the Size Format. What is your preferred paper orientation – Horizontal or Vertical? What is the size preference / measurement / dimension? This is important for the size of the frame or size of the envelop.
Email The Photos. Send one (1) to five (5) clear photos and the artist will help you select the right one. Photos should not be less than 7 inches (18 cm), and not less than 200 dpi resolution.
Review and Approve. An email of the work in progress to review and approve before we send the final artwork. Please understand that each artwork take, on average, 3 to 30 hours for the artist to draw entirely by hand. The artist requests your patience during this process.
Enjoy Your Artwork. Delivery may take one (1) to four (4) weeks depending on the location. Postal charges may apply for artworks drawn on paper.
